Looks so shoddy. Half hearted initiatives like these will push common public off and make them write off the EV Journey.

Such a big company should do better!

The highlight is "battery swapping" station which is a much better alternative to charging point for public transport. Experimenting with electric autos is the best option to keep them running 24x7. I advocate battery swapping rather than quick charging, this is a better option till charging infrastructure is in place.

Couldn't agree more and stress on the fact that at least for the mass transport, three wheeler segment, battery swapping is a better alternative than charging points.

I have seen the rickshaw owners queue up in front of CNG stations, and poor souls have to wait for more than 30-60+ minutes for their turn to fill up. A similar waiting experience for charging the vehicle could deter adoption of the EVs.

We need to appreciate Amara Raja for their efforts. Doesn't matter if it is shoddy or not. It is the first step for them. There should be a start somewhere. Companies and its employees should get hang of philosophy of EV and it thought process. The rest will follow.
