They simply open an outlet next to it for this CV segment. Infact, Maruti is preferring existing dealers to expand most of its ideas as they hardly resist for anything new. I have been closely monitoring spares and MASS business, and people there are mostly reluctant to implement any new idea proposed by MSIL, given the tiny margins they operate in.
Dealers on the other hand are always more than happy to venture into any plan proposed by MSIL. Hence they are being preferred over new faces. Quote:
What future products is Maruti bringing here in the short & mid-term? Will the Eeco be moved here?

Not advocating unsafe vehicles here, but Maruti can potentially move its Omni, Eeco and all its Tour series of vehicles to these showrooms. Omni easily sells above 6k units per month, without any kind of push. From business point of view, both for Maruti as well as end customer(which are mostly commercial anyways), this can be a viable option instead of killing the model altogether.
BVNCAP won't be applied to CV segment IMO(else what happens to all those 3 wheelers which are much more unsafe than Omni).
Also, this will promote the Tour lineup about which, not many people know about.
