The company has placed the FA 9-137 truck in the light to medium duty truck segment. It comes in two variants - tipper and freight carrier and is powered by 3.9-litre diesel engine that puts out 134 BHP @ 2,500 rpm and 420 Nm of torque @ 1,500 rpm. It has a 6-speed manual transmission.

DICV has already been exporting trucks to other African countries such as Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.

DICV operates with MFTBC (Mitsubishi Truck and Bus Corporation) under the umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia. While DICV focuses on the Indian market with its brand BharatBenz and caters to countries such as Nepal, that are similar to the Indian market conditions, MFTBC services the Asian and African regions with its existing portfolio of Mitsubishi-Fuso trucks produced at its plants in Kawasaki and Oragadam.
