The body is built by Scania at their factory in Malaysia. The current set of buses are imported from Malaysia. Their factory in Bangalore is going live shortly - after that, body will be built here.

Sharvesh is the grandson of Dr. KP Natarajan (the owner of KPN Travels). He is the kid in the last-but-one photographs in the earlier page. The guy in white-and-white standing right next to the bus is Dr. KPN.

All are top of line 14.5m coaches. Its to be noted that in Scania even smaller length coach also has steerable tag axle.

Re: Scania launches Metrolink - New coach range for India

Became a bit late to post these pics of Aeon Connect which are the first Scania's to roll on Kerala Roads. Some shots during their inaugural ceremony from Cochin. One of our fellow Team BHP Member Mr Jimmy Jose is the director of EVM Scania who is the sole dealership for Scania products in Kerala.

Scania of Royal Challengers, Bangalore. Not sure whether RCB owns this or not. Can someone comment on this?

Re: Scania launches Metrolink - New coach range for India

Folks! Scania has started the pilot testing of it's ethanol-run Bus and provided the Nagpur Municipal Corporation with 1 of it for a trial run. The usage of this alternative fuel by the Bus is claimed to reduce CO2 by 90%.
