Re: JBL 608GTi or ID CTX65CS or Rainbow CSX 265 DREAM or Rainbow SLC 265 KICK

Here's a quick attempt to explain passive bi-amping. It's actually quite simpler than it might appear from the example below.

Channel A on your amp will act as amp for tweeters, and Channel B for mid-basses

RCA Connection

HU Front Left RCA Out -> Amp Channel A Left RCA In
HU Front Right RCA Out -> Amp Channel A Right RCA In

HU Rear Left RCA Out -> Amp Channel B Left RCA In
HU Rear Right RCA Out -> Amp Channel B Right RCA In

Speaker Connection

Channel A Left -> Tweeter Input of left Crossover
Channel B Left -> Mid Bass Input of left Crossover

Channel A Right -> Tweeter Input of right Crossover
Channel B Right -> Mid Bass Input of right Crossover

No. An active setup won't have any crossover between the amp and the speakers.

No comparison. Dreamline are entry level and have decent mid-kick. Whereas SLC Kick so hard that u might have to damp again.

2 Very different speakers you are comparing there.

@Panky you can also look at Focal. They are quiet lively speakers and mid kick in most focal speakers are very prominent and good.

For your music taste i would suggest sticking to JBL or Focal.

I think you didn't read my post carefully or maybe you never intended to read it.

I clearly said he might. Emphasis on the might word. maybe you should subscribe to the following thread:

Sir, I am no expert. I am merely an entusiast learning from experience, much like you.

No harm in checking that LBM! If it indeed serves my purpose, period.

Edit: Just saw your post abhibh.. any specific model(s) in Focal? With music tastes, I sincerely hope you're NOT refering to Chamkila here

I concur with you Abhibh, like I mentioned "highly doubt" it clear my point.

And Panky does not need more is my opinion. He might need it that is all depends on him. Also I am not even a Entusiast just a smaller timer in this big sea of Enthusiast.

Tu-tu main-main is not a good thing in winter. There are better ways to keep warm.
