I heard the same about them as well as those garages behind Juhu garden. But when i talked to Suraj Bhalla of Team Motor Works I found him ok. It depends how you come to them. If you come to them and say "give me the latest" and dont discuss cost they'll do just that.

A knowledgeable customer is the best customer.

I liked that. And thanks to you all, I have accumulated all my knowledge by going through your threads in TBHP. I can now talk to them in their own language.

Navin,
Have'nt heard from Sam today. Not sure if he could have suggested a better deal than what I already have. But I need to get this done sooner ratehr than later. Can you let me know the answer for the below 2 queries:

"Can I power the 936 only with the HU instead of a seperate Amp (like Sony 502z) ?
Do you recommend any Sub with a built-in amp instead of the CS1200T ?"

Also, in another thread, you mentioned using the 426e in the rear too instead of the 936. Since the comps cannnot be powered by the HU, can I just install some local co-axials (to be powered by the HU)
I am going to another dealer tomorrow evening. Will be checking out his quotes and finalizing between the 2.

PM him if you want him. I think he is busy.

I am a bit confused i thought you were getting 2 amps a 504 and a 502.

anyway if you are getting only the 502 you'll need that to power the sub. and i dont know of an active sub that will come cheaper than a seperate 502 and a sub.

If you are getting only a 504 and if you use 2 channels for the front components and 2 channels for the sub this will work WELL only if your HU has 3 pairs of pre out (front, rear and SUB) OR unless your HU allows the RCA and speaker outputs to be used together. Check with the installer.

In this case the front RCA and rear RCA go the 504. the 504 then has HPF on for the front speakers and LPF on for the sub. The Rear speaker out of the HU then feeds the rear speakers which could be 4-5" coax drivers.

I would sugest that you can get decent coax drivers for the rear so as not to mess up the sound by introducing any poor sound in the car. The drivers can be whatever fits in the speaker pods in the rear.

The only reason for thinking of having an active sub is that I am not sure, how good a match the 502z is to the 1200T ?

Hello!!

Prices are decent. Go Ahead. The 502 bridged is a pretty decent match with the 1200T.

At last, a reply from the busy man. Okey, I will not mess up the setup by asking more questions. 'I' will get confused with the possibilities.
Any good installers around Bandra/SantaCruz area ? Any idea how this guy "FM Drive" is ? He is situated around the Benetton showroom on Linking Road (Khar side). Recommended by a friend's friend !!!
