I need to choose between these two amps to power a single kicker L5.the RF seems to be on sale on sonicelectronix, which of the two would be better the Rf seems to need only 8 awg power cable vs the kicker needing 4 awg.can i save on power cable using the Rf

i am still buying parts of my ice slowly over the year

getting the amp from US via KMD

Already bought the sub from the us a few months ago.so i need an amp tp power it ,between the two the kicker is almost twice as expensive compared to Rf. almost fixed on the Rockford prime. would it be a good amp to power the Single Kicker L5

I would suggest Kenwood 9104D

DON'T try to save on power cable, since you are putting in pretty decently powerful equipment. Lower gauge power cable = more voltage drop = lesser voltage at amp = lower power output possibility on peaks. Anyhow the cost of the power cable is one of the least in the equipment complement, especially if one uses branded Indian power cables.

Not much to differentiate between the two amps. Of course the Kicker, being a Class D amp, is the more energy-efficient of the two.

I would take Chiragh advice if the price of Kicker is less than Kenwood mono. The Kenwood mono easliy give 500+ rms at 2 ohms.

well the kicker is i think 20,000 with bill and warranty ,200$ usd from us
Rockford Fosgate is i thinkk 17,500 with bill and warranty 120$ from us
Kenwood i don't know how much it is.

When you say energy efficent how far is it going to matter?
