I dont rear signatures or the number of posts or often even dont know who posted to a post that I am replying to I just look at the content.

My original object here was primarily to ensure that everything I know was disbursed to as many youngsters as possible so that they can take audio to the next level.

However once guys like JB and Sam came on the scene I noticed that the quality of my posts has dropped considerably. They are really good and smart and I am happy to see audio in good hands for atleast the next generation.

Now I dont need to offer my outdated advice. Sam, JB/Gun and co are so much more current.

@Sam:

hahaha navin always talks abt this legacy stuff.
He thinks he has seen enuff of this audio world and wants to handover to the young turks. Maybe the song "18 Till I Die" shud infuse something

Navin..ur experience/knowledge does matter a lot.

muni, trust me I've done my time. I hand cranked my first stereo (gramaphone) and can recollect times when audio was stored on cylinders (not the kind you have in cars). When the brands to own were RCA, Avery Fisher, Saul Marantz, Hermon Hosmer Scott, James B. Lansing, Sidney Harman, Peter Goldmark, Paul Klipsch, Henry Kloss and Edgar Vilchur (AR) etc.

for a almost complete list of those who contributed to the progress of audio see this...

I want to retire and enjoy the cackle of young voices. Now all I wanna be is a fly on the wall.
