This HU usually goes for about 150-170 USDs and the rest is what you pay for shipping to India.

Yep, they totally charge 209 dollars along with shipping. First of all is this "Globalbuy" genuine? If so, will it be delivered correctly to my home at doorstep due to the PSYCHOS of the customs department in the Cargo section of the AIRPORT . Am afraid that these Psychos might confiscate the goods which are coming like these .

They wont confiscate unless you dont pay duty which is close to 35% of your product value

say 35% of 11,000 which is ~3,500 INR. So it totalls out to be 14,500 INR.

A better way is to get someone to bring it down from US.

Psst Psst..u know how much i got my X693 for?...well its slightly less than $150

Yea, its brand new and Box packed. Howz that for a Deal ?

I think Globaleasybuy prices have customs duty already accounted for. Check fine print on the website.

Fine. Have you noticed the TAB "How it works"?. Watch the sentence below 4th step. It has mentioned "SUBJECT TO CUSTOM CLEARANCE". This makes me to hesitate to go ahead.

I also wanna know what is meant by "TIME LEFT - 5 days 15 hours " ?

It has been mentioned that ""Rs.12,211/- includes shipping charges, export duties levied by the exporting country and customs duties, customs clearing charges, service tax, insurance and other charges applicable in India. Octroi or any other applicable municipal entry taxes will be payable by you before delivery.""

So What's OCTROI & APPLICABLE MUNICIPAL TAXES ??. How much they would charge for this Kenwood KDC-X693

Hi whizzkid, what you need is a tutorial in ebay shopping. I'd have provided, but copying and pasting content from ebay website is no better than directing you to the website.

So, without further ado, here it is- Learn how to buy or sell on eBay India

Happy reading and shopping!

And frankly, if I'd decide to order an HU online if the price is attractive, I'd not fret about petty things like Octroi/Municipal taxes, the color and thickness of the packaging material used, whether the remote comes with free batteries or not...you get the drift..
