Thank you for the information sir. I would rather leave it the way it than to disturb and make it look ugly. Do we get a USB adapter for the Pioneer HU i have (DEH 5950IP) so i need not have to change the HU ? If yes, where can i get it in Bangalore and what will it cost ??

You'll have to get the aux in cable from Blaupunkt for that.

Regarding the USB port, it's necessary to see if your HU supports USB devices. Aux in cannot be used as USB port. If you know the model number/name of the Blaupunkt HU in your car, please post it here.
I sorted out that problem by buying a modulator which works on the FM frequency. There is a USB port and a slot for SD card in it. This device gets its power from the power output point(cigarette lighter slot).
Interestingly, all the cars in the vicinity can also tune on the same frequency and listen to the music which is being supplied through the pendrive to the modulator.

Could anyone tell me if JBL products bought abroad will receive warranty in India? Some times warranty is advertised as international but is not honored by Indian dealers.

Sam?

Warranty maybe not but they can still get service (if paid for).

What about products that are not available in India?

Would they be serviceable at a fee?

See its like the dealers dont send the products back to the company for repairs, It is serviced/repaired by workshops which the company has approved of in the specific city. Thus rather than going to the dealer you can approach the workshop itself and get it serviced at your cost.

from what I've seen, most dealers just replace the thing under warranty. after that , they usually dont do anything

Hi!

I wanted to know about lightning audio. I am getting it installed in my logan, the retailer suggested me compnent sytem in the front and oval 16X9 in the rear, is this a sufficient system?

What would be the approx cost of this system.

Can I look at any other options, my head unit is pioneer.

which 4 channel amplifier ?

I could not find a proper thread to post my query so I had to start a new one.

I have a pair of JBL comps(608C) and a pair of JBL 938s. I want to put them on an ampifier. which amp should i go for. My budget is 8-10k. my HU is pioneer 6050 2din. I am also running a pioneer sub( i think its 605) on a separate 4 channel desi alpine amp which I plan to change later.

Get the 1004 a brilliant amp but make sure that the gains are set correctly or your 608 may go kaput.

1. iDA X series is good , but heard SQ not as good as the 98XX series. buy only if you're primary usage is via iPod
2. same coax as the front hertz ( which ones?)
3. depends on the pio woofer and its specs.
