I would first try to get a better installer and see if a better install makes this system tolerable. Once that is done you can change one component at a time to have a better ICE experience.

Whats your setup like?

The RCA's and speakers wires can make the world of a difference sometimes.

VFM - MX RCA Cables, approximately Rs250. Get the double shielded "digital" series. Would be available in the local electronics market where they sell DVD Players/Speakers etc.

Other options - EFX, Tsunami, Stinger

setup is like
front dsk comps running from a 2 channel blau amp
rear 6x9 and sub running with a sony amp(already planning for amp upgrade)
kenwood HU with 4v x 3 preouts

the RCAs are all desi so i thought why not change them to something better and trust worthy and feel the difference.

Hey Folks,

Am looking to install sound absorbing Dynamats for my door panels. Does anyone know the approx cost in Bbay and where I can get these installed.

Any recommendations for Indian brands that do the same job ..is also very welcome.

Cheers

If you're planning to upgrade the amp, get a good amp like 75.4 to drive the DSKs and sub, upgrade the cables along. You can drive the 6X9s off the Blau amp then. The difference would be noticeable now, but more with a good amplifier.

Hi Navin,

Glad to hear that there are many installers for Dynamat. Am at Santacruz, but will go whereever it tales for this installation.

Would you have any idea on the costs as well, please.

Cheers

What is your music system setup? Is Dynamat Xtreme really required? It comes for Rs. 440 to Rs. 1200 per sq. ft. of which a couple of doors if done properly will alone take about 36 sq. ft. = Rs. 16000/- i.e. the bulk pack. Or do you already have the Dynamat with you? The Xtreme Bulk Pak retails for $200 abroad.
