actuallu i wanted to know how the sony XS-LD105P5 is.......
i will be puttin the 10"sub powered by the 222 amp.its min rating is 80w rms and a max of 250.i asked my audio guy here and he sait its fine to run the sub using this amp...........

the sony is priced at 6400 rs and rf at 7500rs......

between these 2 whill will have a better bass effect.....no probs with price..... gettin it free

there is little connection between watts rms and watts pmpo.

in fact watts pmpo is so arbitrary a number i would strongly suggest not considering that number to mean anything at all. in fact i would be inclined to avoid any manufacturer that uses pmpo as part of their specification becuase their doing so is an indication that they are willing to compromise the standard measuring methods.

I am willing to put up a my 200W amp against any of these "100,000 W PMPO turbo charged and fuel injected, fire breathing monster amps"

not knowing every sony and RF model I would hazzard a guess and say that withing the same price range RF should offer better quality and sony will offer more bang for the buck. So if BANG for the buck is what you are after get the Sony.

One note: It is very very difficult to recomend one component over the other even after knowing all the other parts of the audio chain. this is becuase there are too many models out there often some are available only is select markets and becuase there are too many other variables (enviroment, type of music, expectation of listener, etc...).

Hi NVAIN, you seems to be active. What would u suggest between Blaupunkt GT series 50W RMS/ or Any other alternative to that? I listened to JBL CS396E and they don't hv any bass output. What would u say?

what is your budget. what is the size of the speaker you are looking at?

I am looking at around Rs 3200 - Rs 4000, With Good Bass Output probably 6x9 Inches or equivalent. Thanks.

for a 6x9 i would look at the alpine 690A

beyond that i would look at the Boston RX97 and the Infinity 9603i dont know their local prices though.

you only need 2! I dont know what they cost sorry. I heard them in an Esteem at my installer in October 04 when I went to pick up my Octy.

BTW what car are you putting the JBLs in. JBLs are not known for poor bass.

I am putting them in Matiz, but I did listen to CS series yesterday and I didn't like them.

Please tell me if there is anything that we shud check in pioneer HU? I am buying 5750 but it says that is a pioneer one, but have a single sticker that says pioneer. Output is very good, do the pioneer's shipped in india come with any stickers? It doesn says pioneer on the inside of the face plate and on the top of the player but how do I know its not the assembled one?
