Shukriyaaaaaaaa...

Thanks yaar Sam.... You bet Sridhar is an amazing guy and thats why I love to visit his place and talk audio with him...

He won't sell me the JBL speakers cuz hez the dealer [follows ethics to a T, amazing] but he's getting me the stuff from one of his retailers and would also get 'em fixed for me.... Simply love doing business with him.... Will tell him you said Hi...

Alright man, JBL fronts and rear it is.... Your da man, and thats why I waited to know what to buy Tanx... Do let me know if you'd ever visit chennai, and I guess the Chennai TBHPins would love to meet up with you... Atleast I would...

I'm going to check out 2 Clarion HUs and settle for either one of them or the Alpine 9827/9830.....

Bahut shukria bhai....

I'm back and thanks same for that photo of 28 batteries being shunted by bussbar! that was cool.

In the last 7 days I've had 2 near death expereinces one when our air tanks ran out underwater and one when our para chute did not deploy properly. so please excuse me while i regain my senses.

NAHEE!!!!
I'm feeling bad to ask, but come on! It must have been fun on hindsight???

Think of the stories you'll be able to tell your grandkids, instead of boring them with techtalk!!
Welcome back my friend, we have missed you.

Navin,
How in heavens name did you count 28 batteries on that van, connected by a Busbar?

Zzzehar, Navin is an Audio Guru and doesnt brake using parachutes, except when he needs to slow his brain down. He was on a fun vacation involving diving and stuff and somethings went wrong thats all.

Hi Rev,

CS is the entry level JBL. Offering affordable quality, CS is priced similar to the other brands (sony etc) while the GTO is better built, better souding and is slightly pricier.

GTO 936e and CS396e are 6X9 ovals. GTO426e and CS205e are 4" 2 way co-axial speakers.
If you want specs go to www.fxaudio.com

"e" is the new and latest series. Actually it stands for Europe. Europe and asia share the same product line.

ok let me see -
GTO936e - Rs4750/- (6X9)
GTO426e - Rs 2500/- (4")
CS396e - Rs 3750/- (6X9)
CS 205 - Rs 2250/- (5.25")

These prices are uniform across the country. Occasionally we have had trouble with dealers boosting the price to make a quick buck, rarely reducing it. Generally one cannot bargain. However some dealers MAY offer a discount. Genuine JBL will carry a price tag and a warranty card.If you feel you're being overcharged or something, you can always check with the company showrooms. You will find the numbers on the website. Cheers.

Sam I counted 4 banks of 7 batteries. Unless mirrors were used that would make 28.

Amongst other adventures we went diving and para sailing and each time we had something silly go wrong. The story however is for a different forum.
