The Pioneer speakers also have a dome tweeter and sound reasonably good. Have a dealer pop in the JBL's in it's place keeping everything else the same. Or maybe you could have one JBL and one Pioneer at the back for an A-B test. Pardon some stereo differences when doing this, and you should be able to easily tell what suits you better.

the pioneer 6x9 and the pioneer 6.5 inch 160r both have same tweeter in both of them...

but the tweeter cannot handle the sound the higher frequencys gets distored in the 6x9 but in the componet kit it works fine......I have seen in my friends car in which both the 6x9 and the 6.5 were installed ......this might be due to the passive crossover design in both the speakers........

How much are you paying for these pios? Anyting over 4K and the JBLs or Alpines might be better options.

LBM, I had to read your post twice. Seems like the tweeter in the 6x9 is crossover over too low or too slow or both.

Gina is Sam's friend. She is also Dr. Sidney Harman's (and presumably Sen. Jane Harman's) daughter. Now before you get ideas she is almost twice Sam's age and besides Sam is spoken for.

LBM, I wonder why you did not google that though. I supposed her name would be "google-able".

lol,

LBM, Gina Harman (as Navin correctly said) is Dr. Sidney Harman's (of harman/kardon) daughter.
She is also what you call, the Boss of JBL.
