Yo!So i finally got the swift and here is the current audio config(to be installed..)
Pioneer 5850 hu
Pioneer ts-W 306 subwoofer
" 350w 6x9 rear co-axials(dont know model coz its in the boot)
" 180w front 2way speakers (again dont know model coz its in the boot)
Sony 554 amp.

Went to Sprocket today to check on the price of the install. They Quoted 3500 for only labour,Sealed enclosure, and rear parcel tray.Wires excluded!
What exactly is the right price to pay for the parcel tray and enclosure.I thought 2k was a good budget only for labour, enclosure and parcel tray.
Anyways,I need Quality and not the chumma boom boom;so i guess its a sealed enclosure for the sub then?
How is a swwb(wheel well)thingy install in terms of SQ?
What should the Amp power along with the sub?The front or the rear?

Help please!

WHOA!! What the...

How the hell is there a picture taken at the very same instant? If you look at my arm, it is in exactly the same position and I can see Rtech taking a picture of Navin and I. In fact the moment is absolutely precise - Navin's arm is also exactly in the same position and believe me, the old man and I weren't in that position for long

LBM, you spooked me. And that doesnt happen often. Brilliant job.

I remember that day, it was fun.

I also remember her, quite cute she was.

Yes those were taken on the same day. In fact that was the first time I met Sam. He claimed those were his formal clothes.

LBM, wow you are patient. BTW LBM, as much as we appreciate your inputs you really ought to get a life outside audio and this forum. I dont spend more than half as much time as you do on TBHP and I am a Mod!

whats thise 180w thingy? Dude, Swift's take 6.5' speakers. On a tight budget I would suggest decent co-ax all around ( read.. 4 co-ax on 4 doors)

If you can get a compo for frnt.6-7k . And if you are gonna get a sub, why the 6x9??? Believe me those 6x9 gonna rattle one day and with taht sub you wont need those thingy ther.

3.5k for sub box + parcel tray + install is a good deal

For not getting chumma boom boom, seal box if fine.

and most speaker sets comes with their own wiring.

by the way, got a budget?

Which is the best audio setup for Indica

Hi,

This is my first post in the forum. Please be kind to me. I own a Indica which has audio system with pioneer HU. I am planning to upgrade the speaker system. I contacted Audio Planet, Bangalore (Behind Koramangala BDA Complex). He gave me a good demonstration abt the working of a audio system in a car. He was recommending BOSTON speakers, woofers with a Sony amp which comes within my budget (Rs 20,000). I asked for JBL, and he said that now JBL is not coming with Kevlar Cones. He also added "Without Kevlar cones Boston is better compared to JBL". I just want to get your ideas b4 going for one as already I have been cheated by a guy who has his shop in Teachers Colony (Back of Koramangala Ist block) who fitted duplicate Sony Xplode speaker in my car 1 year back.

Please help me to fine a good configuration for my Indica.
