Hmm... LBM... When you say you answer the right thing? Whats that? Are you saying theres a right and wrong here? Please shed some light on this

As for the TrueAudio article by Mr Murphy, I think it is very clear to anyone who reads this that Mr Murphy has repeatedly mentioned this is his opinion and his opinion only. Others may have different opinions and results. It is wrong to interpret this article as an absolute fundamantal.

Opinion is elastic. Note how many people swear by other people's opinion.

Besides it all depends on the enviroment, application, etc...

For example port placement in a home speaker can make a difference (again depending on the driver, prot freq, location of speaker in room, etc..) I have found that fullrange speakers tend to be more sensitive to this that say a 8-12" woofer.

In a car I think we are splitting hair. With road noise, passenger chatter, panel vibrations and resonance, etc. all there to distract you port placement in a car sub is a negligible issue if an issue at all (again within reason).

Mehul Mepani (a la AV Max) travels from Chembur to Malad everyday in a Maruti Swift with old Poweramper Class A amplification and Illusion Audio Im 6.1 comps.

LBM would like this setup very much. All one needs is a tablespoon of oil, and one can cook a very scrumptious omelette on the chassis of the amplifier, even when it's idling.

I have booked an Indica Turbo and would like to know a cheap, good mp3 system for my car 8-10 K.

2 or 4 speakers dont really matter. 4 speakers preferably. I just want decent quality sound. Dont need too much of bass or volume. Cost is the main criterion. It should be problem free also.

Experts....

Any feedback on the HU from Pricol Xenos, I saw the unit. It has a MMC, USB reader slot and is priced aggresively. Any expert advise??

Just wanted to know whether it can be recommeded to any friends/relatives.

@ rayden

Indica Turbo ; cheap, good mp3 system ;8-10 K.2 or 4 speakers; decent quality sound; Cost is the main criterion. It should be problem free also.

1) Get one with warranty, ie,with B&W. With a 10k budget, the min for a HU with B&W means a Blaupunkt HU

2) Get a good pair for co-ax for your doors ( I forgot what the Indica's door pods take!)

If you dnt want B&W things, get Pio HU.

@mail4ajo; do you haev any specs? http://www.xenos.co.in/Coming.html dont have any details. Also, did you check out the HU. Do post more details.
