JK... You already have a sub.... a 6x9 will be an overkill... unless Karthik has converted you into a bass-head!!

emm, well, just in my mind. most probably a 5.25 co-ax at back, coz it would be a more neat install.

All depends on finding a good installer who can do teh job and finding an mdf ring

I agree ... slightly OT // but .. Lol... my car is April '03 and I have done only 32k ... You have done 21 in less in just 7-8 months!.. Plus 12k on the bike in 11 months...BOy you must be saddle-sore!... You NEED good sound - you are practically living in that vehicle!

Any idea on the price of this system? I have got a quote of 13k. Is this an OK price? Would like to exchange it with another alpine system.

tehr!

so 13k sounds ok for a double din. Just one RCA out though. But at 13k you can get better Alpine with 3 RCA out but single din.

JK, You get a box of Wurth, (6 sheets inside), each sheet about 2 feet by 1 foot for around 3K something.

Both of you can share the box and still have some left over. Alternatively, you could ask Gunbir about AzComp damping. A pack of 5 sheets of approx 10"X10" costs some 1200 odd bucks.

I need damping for the doors and boot. You think one set will be enough for both of us!??

Calculate the sq footage required Karthik....

Just a front door is easy... around the speaker and panel gaps... but the boot is another story entirely!
