WHy??... well could be combination of reasons...since it is not popular at all , maybe there are other models better than it.. its your decision!

Sony HU do have problem with their lens/ lens alignmnt in the long run; 1 or 2 yrs. I got mine fixed for 400Rs at a local shop, but was warned that I may have to spend 2k next time to chnge teh lens kit.

But Sony.co.in products comes with an Indian warranty and hence worth. My unit was bought frm germnay 2 yrs back.

I own a sony HU model - cdxf7710s, till date no problem with the HU, I purchased it 6 months back, only thing I noticed was the detachable faceplate becomes very HOT after playing it for few hours, the reason I purchased Sony was because it has a good service network.

Also recently purchased Scosche FM transmitter, very good product.

Cheers

Major

From what i usnderstand few models had this probelm however we dont have a full list of the models that did. anyway we've been told that this problem has be resoveld in teh current production but we have no idea what Serial Numbers to look for so just make sure you get a model with a current date not something from 2 years back.

Hey Rareone,

You really do have a lot of speakers , I dont like the pioneer TS20 to be honest.
The T595Ltd is a superlative old-school speaker and can handle a lot of power.

Thanx Navin & Sam Kapasi for your comments on my ICE

So are u guyz suggesting me 2 remove the TS20.

If yes do i need 2 install somethin else 2 take TS20 place i.e a kicker 4" component.

Or just remove TS20 from my ICE.

Please clarify my doubt.

Thanx

But how are you gonna install those JBL compos in the front???? Santro has 4 inch speaker pods in the front na??? So how is it possible.........

Or wait a minute,........are you planning to do a fancy fibreglass setup for the front???? Now that would be stunning
