1. Mclaren using #### to dodge the foul language filter is not on!
2. Doing 200kmph in Mumabi is darn near crazy if not impossible and irresponsible. I dont think Bangalore is any different.

Gurus,
Need thy advice-
I have the following setups currently on my Lancer.
Rockford Comps on the front
Pioneer co ax on the rear shelf
Rockford Punch sub on the rear shelf
Head Unit- JVC
Boss equalizer
Amps- Boss 4ch and one sony 504 driving the components.

Now to the issues-
1) Am not happy with the placing of the sub on the rear shelf. Whole lot of vibrations ring up due to the sub. Is it a good idea to get the sub in an enclosure in the boot?Thinking of replacing the R fosgate Punch with an ID Max V3.0 / Jonah Lomu Fusion 101 in an enclosure. How would the Fusion 101 fare?

2)Not so happy with the Boss EQ these days. Is it a good idea to do away with this one completely or is it worth while getting another brand EQ for this setup?

PLEASE HELP CLARIFY! Thanks

a) loose the EQ. it does more harm than good.
b) put the Sub in a Box. My guess would be bass rflex for the RF if you can give us the T/S specs maybe we can help with the box dimensions and type.
c) loose the Boss 4ch amp. Use 504 to drive sub and front components and JVC to drive rear.

a) Will do.
b) It is a 10" RF Punch sub.
c) Would the 504 drive the sub and the front components Navin? Thanks.

1. Well none of the words marked #### have a bad word or foul language .. Did that so that it would remain a suspense .. Thats a special for the bangy boys only btw ..

2. Trust me bangy boys have found ourselves a strip (a racetrack actually) where u could close ur eyes and do such speeds without a worry .. Trust me bangy boys are the most responsible drivers of the lot in the whole world (im talking about the racing guys here) .. I appreciate ur concern , but making stereotype comments is not fair .. U ought to see the scene in bangy , trust me i have not much idea about bombay but here its very organised and safe .. Next time u are here u must tag along with us .. U will be shocked ..

Most 10" subs will do fine in about 1.5-2 cu. ft (40-60 liters). However without accurate T/S specs I would not hazzard a ported box. A sealed box is much more forgiving of these errors.

The 504 will drive a sub and 2 front speakers. to drive the sub you have to bridge 2 channels. The sub must have a nominal impedance greater than 4 ohms.

Rip Off. Fake. Nakli. Nothing to do with JBL. Jhoota. Duplicate. Scam.
