Well, I wanna thank you guys for coming and having a good time. Bombay boys did get a good show (wink wink) but come on Mcl, the band was pretty good in Bangalore. All 3 cities were a great success and I had a lot of fun meeting Gunbir, JB, Autopsyche, GTO, RTech, Viper, v1p3r,Mclaren, Ajmat, Rudra, Xstream. Thanks for coming and I hope you had a good time.
I am dying to know what the surprise is.
Meanwhile - heh heh, back to Car Audio, I hope.

Yeah, we had a great time and for me it's little more.

Added one JBL CS 60.2 amp (Sam I hope I'm right) for my sub and allowed the four channel amp to breathe easy. Sound is well rounded now. Much more body and most important my light blinking problem has gone.

Thanks Gunbir, Navin and of course Sam for the all the help and suggestion. Old man is really happy now

You are most welcome Rudra. I must say, the overall balance is brilliant and your taste in music is excellent. I'm glad your problem is sorted. We need to do more beers though.

Basically, Rudra's 4 channel blaupunkt amplifier had 4 speakers in parallel on the front channel and the tube was bridged on the rear. We connected the 4 speakers to the amplifier, one per channel, just the way Navin likes it and bridged the blau tube to the 60.2.
The result, well, Rudra just couldn't stop beaming from ear to ear and the light blinking is solved too.

Sam, why a 60.2? 300.1 would have been better right?

Well, it is a Blaupunkt 10" tube. Not very powerful. I figured the 60.2 bridged would do a decent job of powering that. If we were talking about a high power 12" woofer then i'd have suggested the 300.1. Plus Rudra doesnt like too much volume.

what Sam said and the fact that 60.2 = 6K, 300.1 = 10K. 4K buys a lot of beer!

Also an ok bottle of single malt.

That apart, I didn't know about 300.1 because Sam told me about 60.2 only...But like to know if there's a big difference in SQ with 300.1..

No Rudra, in your case it would be a waste of money.
