geez. i posted the photo so you know what to build.

just take 2 220ufd caps (electrolytic) and solder them back to back. that means 2 +ve leads soldered to each other.

now you shold have a double cap looking like a siamesse twin. get a good (CTR/DEC) 1ufd poly cap and solder the 2 leads of the poly cap to the 2 free leads of the siameese twin cap.

if you still find too much bass try the same usiing 470uf caps as the siameese twin.

once this is dont srap the whole thing in electrical tape, or if you are comfortable with a soldering iron, heat-shrink.

As for the rest of it would love to be in your shoes (after you have washed them tough) one holiday after another while I oil / toil myself to glory.

Lastly guess your escapades are about the only reason I get drawn to the ICE part of the forum.

Umm sorry Navin, I think you made a mistake 2 X 470ufs will actually allow MORE bass in!
If you want to cut bass further, use 2 X 100uf

Sam, your very presence has enriched our lives, and the bikini factor is guaranteed to drive women away. Now if you could make a good pair of socks, all your ambitions will be complete... I'm still one post away...

EDIT: Since I don't want to waste my 1000th post, Mclaren: I meant Sam in bikini drives women away from himself towards us. Capisce?

Hello boys, how are things? I am enjoying every second in my car with my new 6100F. The 936s give out superb bass. No need for a sub at all.

What I learned from ICE section and exp. is that
1. Pios are good and some even on par with soem high end units of other brands or maybe even better.
2. Pios sell in India a lot coz its cheaper coz its available easily in grey markrt
3. They haev good displays another selling factor (Sam likes thsoe dolphins!)
4. Did I say cheap?
5. ehem, ease of use.
6. Personal taste.

alpine is like merc and pio like toyota to many in indian market. vice versa

i guess rsjaurr was referring to e bay india. there is no custom problem there as sellers r all in india only , problem of damage during shipment remains, but i didn't find any product worth buying from there , sp. as we were looking for products like bass cutters (hp filters).
