But this is true. The Tata Cars are the only ones in India, to allow door components (5.25 or 6") PLUS a 4" in the front dash, like a WagonR. The soundstage is full front lol

you wont beleive it that I am not 100% satisfied with teh fit and finish of either my wife's Sail, my RS, or my mom's Honda. Every car leaves something to be desired.

Tata leaves a lot. It may offer you great speaker locations but with all the buzzes and rattle I have heard from the 1 inidcar i sat it I dont think my attention would be on the music.

Well, navin... Everyone knows how the Tata car made 'noise' from every possible direction on its debut... But what everyone don't know now is that it has improved a lot... You should check out the latest offering on the Indica.... My car does not rattle, and its really smooth.... But yeah, the tata's interiors can by no means come near a palio... the paliois just toooo good.

Yea sam.. the sound staging is front focused... It could have been better if they had provided space for a 6" compos in the door, but sad, its just 5" quarter... wud have preferred the 6" compos in the front...

You can fit a 6" easily in the front of an indica. Just a little mehnat.

alpine sells crossovers witht hte tweeters so if you connected the coax's crossover as well it would have sounded wierd too much roll off.

I assume you are using 2 channels of power for the tweeters. They might not require much power but they still require 2 channels for stereo seperation.

each pair 176, 17LS and 694 would require 2 channels of power. so that makes 8 channels.

I would use the 2 biggest (most powerful channels) in the front and rear doors and use the 2 lower powered channels for the 694 and tweeters.

Hi I'm back. Actually in my Maruti Van, 15 years ago I had mounted 2 bookshelf speakers on aluminium brackets on the rear pillars of the van. The speakers were too heavy and one day the Patra of the car sort of opened up and the speakers came crashing down and I decided to get into Car Audio
