AKTHAR>?? who is that??

Anyways it was very nice to see your disco '82 and Viveks CCTB boxes. The 936e lost a little bottom end but the CCTB boxes are compact and save a lot of money. I think McLaren, you took a few pictures na? Maybe Navin can shed some light on CCTB boxes for the uninititiated.

Gurus,

need help

Planning for decent audio system for Alto:

I am planning to keep the budget to close to 10k, here's what i have planned:

Option 1

HU: Pioneer Mp3 player either P6750 or P5750
Speakers: Only Front ones preferably the 4" Pioneer ones
Will go for rear Speakers, Sub & amp when i have morre mollah :-)

Option 2
HU: Pioneer Mp3 player either P6750 or P5750
Speakers: Front ones preferably the 4" Pioneer ones Plus Rear 6X9 Pioneer with Tray
Will Go for Sub & Amp later

Will I be able to squeze in option 2 in close vicinity of 10k ??? Also if i go for option two, whenver i will do teh amp & sub i will have to change the wirings also.

otion one sounds tempting as no or very little wiring will be required as Alto has inbuilt wiring for front speakers.

Also I ahve heard that Alpine has better mp3 players. If yes then will it fit in my budget(option 1)

Please Suggest. Thanks

Ya Navin...

Do you have any personal experience with CCTB boxes for co-axial speakers? Vivek has had some decent success in his alto with them. What is the priniciple of these CCTB boxes?

First of all, I am no guru, just helping you with what I know.

If I were you I would take option 1 but with better front speakers say 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" component speakers from a good brand after listening to them for around 4k. I think Pio 5750 will come in your budget for around 6k. Thats it a HU and 2 front speakers to start with. You can keep adding later when you want to.

Alto is a small car. Two good front speakers will more than suffice. Forget the rear speakers. I have a Palio and have only two speakers in them. Take a look.

Alpine are good but I dont know if they are available in your price range.

Btw, most speakers come with speaker cables so you dont have to worry about spending money on cables.

I am not sure about that but I think 5 1/4" speakers should. I guess you will have to wait for the guru's to re-confirm.
