one idea.....what if I install the ipod on the inside of the glove comparment door. i could use velcro something like countour design's showcase (http://www.contourcase.com/) there and it would be safe. only i gotta see if there is enough room.

when the car is running yes. so does/did the opel astra.

why they did not run the vent into the corsa/sail i dont know it dont cost much. but my fear is when the car is not running and the ipod is left inside.

if i had faith in local aftermarket installers providing stock look i could even have ventured into modifying the dash to provide the vent for the sail.

i figured on the glove compartment door it would be more reachable than inside the glove compartment. only it gotta fit. another place it the door map holder. seems neat and more hidden.

looking everywhere for ideas..

and BTW dont even think about the slot below my car deck (in the skoda) because sooner or later i will be installing a morotised screen so i can control the DVD player without being in the back seat and that slot will be taken. Alpine screen are mucho expensive and necvox are ugh white.

Sam, do you have one of those PCMCIA cards that let you browse on your laptop? You need it!
