Are you sure the "genuine " polyglass midbass is genuine ? It looks kind of different to what i've seen. Dont the focal midbass have some sort of yellow/orangish colour tint. I may be wrong though.( may have seen a different model ). But the fakes are really good fakes i must say.

Most focal polyglass components sold in India @ prices around 9-10 k are fakes. Not most, actually all are fakes. The polyglass components are much more expensive than that even abroad. The copies are good copies. And sold by quite a few people in Mumbai, fooling the poor buyers into thinking they are genuine. Shame on them. Lets make a list of people who sell fakes, labelling them as genuine. And boycott those shops, installers forever:-)
People on this forum who have purchased polyglass compos please come and mention it on this thread. Regardless of whether they're fake or real. Photos will be appreciated. Also with the photos, post where you bought them from.

Arpan, your car sounds awesome. And i want to believe they're originals. there's no concrete evidence of them being fakes. And vice versa too. As we start getting more and more inputs from people on this thread, we'll know the final outcome.

given that the pics were taken by the manufacturers themselves, I doubt it

The ones pictured are not the only kind of fakes of the particular model, in the market.

Both the images shown in the pic describing genuine/fake,i feel both are fake focals compared to eachother,I am seeing this content present from past 4yrs+ on the said website.
Would suggest only one thing for true ICE lovers, believe your ears and not whats other person is using

Just goes to show that the speakers are good for the price. From the photos (I ahve not seen the real thing) the woofer atleast looks quite well made.

I have Focals upfront in the swift, have shot off a email to their listed distributors in India asking about the originality. I did get a certificate of warranty and a sticker too. They cost me 18k for the front compos.
