Great Stuff Arpan. Looks like FG work is gonna be playing an important role.
And in the Hands of Ramie bhai, it's all secured. But you never know it's tuned in a way left channel is playing the Bhojpuri and right the Bhangara and Boofer in center the "Three B's"

ive always appreciated Ramie's enterprising nature and skill. But look at his penchant for perfection. Doing one of the most difficult (and painful, and scratchy. Fibreglassing is very detrimental to the body if not protected from it. ) jobs of all, himself!

BEAUTIFUL. Pant pant. Gasp. WE want more!

E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. Great work Ramie bhai. But, don't you think Arpan's sub woofer enclosure should be pink?

Frank, it sound like you want more of Raime scratching himself. :-)

Raime, you really ought to get gloves. I find that I have become less tolerant of the scratchy stuff as I got older.

The mats that we get today are much better than the loose glass fibers that we used for stuffing speaker boxes years back. It does not shatter so much, and produces much less muck.

More than hand protection (it is usually very messy getting the residue out), a mask over mouth and nose is more important. Inhaled fine glass fiber bits and pieces will cause havoc in the lungs.

Fantastic work by Ramie-paaji. Congratulations, Arpan! The color does not go well with the beige upholstery though!

PS: What happened to Frank's Bhojpuri classes?

DA, I use the mat as well as the woven mat. The mat with random fibers (whihc is what Ramie has used) makes for a stronger box but is a bit messier to handle. the Woven mat is easier to handle.

although this fiberglass is itchy it is not as itchy as the loose yellow coloured fiberglass used for sound absorbtion in speaker boxes.

my advise to anyone handling any form of fiberglass is to get gloves. you never know if you are sensitive to the stuff.
