Hi, I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what a good price would be for the Blaupunkt GTA 480 amplifier (with bill and warranty).

(And if by chance, someone here has it / has auditioned it, do you recommend it?)

I think I've mentioned the price as 14k in some other thread.That's what I was quoted at TMC Bangalore.

For 14K it would be a THA480, elder cousin of GTA480.

The GTA480 should be 10K or thereabouts with b&w in Delhi, as mentioned by someone else earlier on TBHP.

Oops, my bad. Sorry I misread it as I was in a hurry to leave for the day. DerAlte is right, GTA 480 is 10k and THA 480 is 14k..

There's no THA 480 as far as I can tell - There is a THA 475.

Also, the dealer quoted Rs. 10,000 with B&W to me - what I want to know is that whether that is a reasonable price, and reasonably speaking, what can I bargain it down to?

Though the country website may not mention a model or a near about number (lazy goose web-site maintainers), the actual product may be available. For example, the only place you can find data on Blau OD series sold in India (phased out now, I think) would be on the Blau Spain or Poland website.

Those are MRPs. 10% should be a reasonable expectation. Beyond that it is your skill.

I have a GTA 475 which has discontinued, my friend has GTA 480 from Final Touch . Juhu Tara Road.

My friend got it installed it 2 months back, but the price I have mentioned ie Rs 8500 is the price the seller gave me yesterday itself so be rest assured that the price is the current price.

Have you bought the amp or was this just the price quoted to you? And do you have a personal hook-up with the dealer or something? (i.e. friend, relative?)

My friend has picked up from him & i had done my ICe set up from him too, so I know him pretty well, if ever u plan to come down to mumbai let me know I could get the same for U no issues with that
