Yes the head unit has not been tampered with and no wires have been cut. Despite the meticulous installation, much care was taken not to void the warranty.

Would you mind sharing the costs involved?
I have something to say on that aspect. Although curious on the pricing we should be more concerned why he finalized on Z Studios, which is the topline Micro Precisions. Even Flipflops previous posts had people saying they'd rather buy a Lexus and listen to its Mark&Levinson which they believe is good something that Id disagree. Z studios like their name are recording studio level stuff and is on a league on its own.

To be frank the issue with such installs is the comments are from people who are not into audio and is amused on what just they've read. Once started on the journey they're just 5-10 years in that path believe me.

However Im curious in the costs in India vs International markets including GST and import taxes, the fab and tuning costs.

Cheers.

This is insane.
I am a Bose fan, so I can understand your commitment to good quality music.
This reminds me of a joke we used to make of my friends. Whenever we order pizza in office , my friend who liked ketchup would go overboard with the amount of sauce he would smear on the Pizza , it would look like he ordered sauce and taking the pizza as an add-on.
Similarly here it looks like you ordered an audio system first and built a car around it . Haha.
Wish you a safe and wonderful audio experience with this setup.

Deadly Audio Install indeed!

Was that 74k or 74L ?!

The setup looks soooooooooooo sick. This reminds me of those early fast and furious movies, Tokyo drift especially, with the wild audio install! Enjoy my friend! I’m equally impressed by the damping, the entire car must be a lot quieter now i imagine.

If yes, it reminds me of a Times of India advertisement which used to run in movie theaters (early 2000s) - It was a series of ads. called 'A day in the life of India'.

In one particular edition, they focus on cars. A guy brings a new M800 to an accessories shop in Delhi and the accessories vendor rattles off a speeded-up list of things that can be done (as they happen on the car visually). In the end the customer is very happy as he drives off with a modded M800.

The ending sentence is 'Chaar aane ki murgi, aath aane ka masala', or 'Chicken for 4 annas, Masala for 8 annas'.

You've really lived up to it

I'm sure your car will be a brilliant experience with this setup!

Re: A No Holds Barred Install | Tata Harrier gets ICED @ Speedfreaks, Chennai

The questions on 74k or 74L are almost disrespecting the op.
I too had the same question, but quickly realized a 29L first act cannot be followed up with 74k, can it be?

Target for next 'upgrade' has to be now 1Cr

This'd surely be picked up by some newspaper soon like TOI did last time!

Your setup looks wonderful, and kudos to you for living your dream!

If you don’t mind, could you share what music system or setup you use at home?

Re: A No Holds Barred Install | Tata Harrier gets ICED @ Speedfreaks, Chennai

While i fully understand the cost of everything involved, I am mind boggled by the amount of time that it took for this installation. Is six months a stretch or am i understanding it wrong?

Thanks a lot sir. The idea was to see how far car audio can be taken and what subtle difference each of the equipment’s used makes

It took six months at a stretch. A lot of time was used to record the responses in multiple pods with different measurements like enclosure volume , angle
Etc

When you spend 74L on a 30L car. I highly doubt warranty loss is even a thing to worry about; I'd only be worried from an insurance perspective, do these mods have to be declared and the premium changes based on it ?
