8950 stock still shows up from time to time. A chap I know in the grey offered it few weeks back.

Here's Me Again: Heard we need a special cable to plug a USB with the 7950 ... ? If so, is it included ? or whats the name of it and how much does it cost ?

Its included in the package. The cable come from the rear of the HU.

It is a normal USB extension cable must be available at any good computer hardware shop.

Haven't seen an 7950. But 8950, for sure does not come with an conventional USB port at the rear. They have 2 options:

1. AUX port
2. Square connector - which connects to a USB adapter. The guys quote 1.5K for the adapter.

It is quite old model. At that having USB was dream come true. Anyways you can add the USB support by adding external usb adapter.

COMP/BMX Function

My query is about Pioneer 6950. But since its practically the same as 7950 I'm posting it in this thread.

What is the use of the COMP/BMX Function ? When should I use it ?
