In Bangalore, I am getting offer for Philadelphia 845 with reverse camera for Rs. 55000. The accessory guy of dealer told me steering controls will work. This price is without negotiation.
@Rajeevraj
Hey
Thanks ! Yes that's the same unit I too have set my eyes on . Yes I guess it should work out ! Like you said this is one clean and neat looking setup especially if you already have a unit like the BP835. Yes will surely update if and when I get it .👍
According to reliable sources, BP is no more German
Outsourced from China and brand value is no more
Anyone here installed Philadelphia for Skoda Rapid ?
Does it come with the interface or should we buy anything additional ?
Pls help me with it
What is the difference between Philadelphia 835 and 845? I am looking at one of them to replace RCD 310 in my Vento.

I've not installed it, but i was told, it requires separate steering interface for Rapid and not for vento.

I am buying Philadelphia 845 with Skoda Rapid from Vinayak Skoda Bangalore. The accessory guy said it does not require separate adapter for steering controls to work. If you look at specifications of 845, it says it had inbuilt CAN interface.

Hows your personal experience withBP 845 ?
Is it worth spending 40-50k
I am not talking abt the music, my primary concerns are a good rear cam compatibility, OE looks, address-book sync and a matchless bluetooth performance
Are you able to get these without a delay ?
Did you fix any amplifier and did you change the speakers
Mention the specs pls

As per the Blaupunkt sales executive in my state, 845 is the latest version
Snapdeal has 835 at a cheaper rate whereas 845 is quoted at 48k at ebay india

I just tried it for sometime, not very long as it was just demo. OE looks are just good, that is the primary reason I am going for it. All the functions that you are talking about, I could not see any lag. The moment you put the car in reverse, rear view pops up.
I will get amplifier which I was using in my old car. I have still not got the delivery so I can let you know completely once I spend some good time with it. Requested delivery on 28th October. Also, getting it for 45k with reverse camera included.

Any idea on how the 845 is different from the 835?A quick check online seemed to suggest that most high level stuff remains the same.

check gannu_1's thread about BP Phil 835, he wasn't very happy with the unit.
When I asked BP guy, he said 845 is just upgraded version of 835 and bit faster in performance. He also mentioned sachin auto shop as their dealer in Bangalore. 53K was the quote they gave two months before which includes reverse camera and steering interface.
