JBL GTO 937 (Rs. 4,900/- with B&W)
JBL CS1204B (Rs. 8,500/-)
Finolex Power + Tsunami Wiring and RCA (Approx Rs. 4,500/-)
Alpine KCE 422i (Approx Rs. 2,200/-)
Alpine KCA 121B (Approx Rs. 1,500/-)
LCD screen and rear view (Rs. 8,000/-)
MDF board for 937's (Approx Rs. 1,000/-)
Installation (Rs.1,000/-)


2. How much did it cost ?

Rs. 76,100/- before discounts and 74,000/- after discounts
By the way, I had started with a budget of Rs.45,000/-

3.How serious were your about your system?
Pretty serious.

4. which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...
a. Smooth Jazz, Latin Jazz, Classic Rock, Blues, Punk Rock.
b. I also listen to House/Trance at times, based on my mood.
c. Occasionally play Modern Rock like RHCP, but very rare.

5. would you recommend it to others???
YES!

6. Future plans:

1. Decent damping on the doors (including boot)
2. There are lots and lots more

My Audio Setup consists of:

HU: Pio 5950 - Rs 5500
Rear Speakers: JBL GTO937 - Rs. 2750
Front Speakers: 4" company fitted
Amp: JBL 60.4 - Rs. 5500
Sub: Pio 306C - Rs. 2800
Custom made MFD box - Rs 1500
Power Cables: Tsunami + extra RCA - Rs 2450 + Rs 450
Extra Wires - Rs 250

How much did it cost ?

Rs. 21200
All the above prices (except for the wires) are without b&w

How serious were your about your system?

Reasonably serious

Which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

Mixed Bag - Jazz, Instrumental, Rock (not hard rock), Pop, Hip Hop & RnB, regular Hindi/Punjabi

Would you recommend it to others???

HU: Pioneer 7750. Lifted from SpeedZak's Alto-talled.
AMP: Blaupunkt 2channel.
FRONT: Hertz DSK130 components.
REAR: Hertz ECX165 coaxials.
SUB: Kenwood in ported box.

Sub and amp bought from Hydrashok for 6k.
HU didn't cost anything.
Dsk130 priced at 5.8k.
ECX165 for 5.5k.

System sounds clean and very good. I will soon upgrade the amp and move the sub to a sealed box.

Amp : Blaupunkt GTA 4 Special MK II (With B&W) Rs. 6000
Custom made sub box: Rs. 1200

Some-mock-oo sub (n): A powered under the bench subwoofer that you can buy for ~5k. Cheaper plug and play option for an SPL (or just PL) setup. Popular with Sumos - but of course - and other people carriers.

Rear : JBL GTO937 - Rs. 2600
4 channel Amp: JBL60.4 - Rs. 5500
RCA Cables - Original Schosche

All the equipment except for the head unit & Cables were bought in National Market without B/W( bangalore) and Head Unit and cables in Car Kemp and got installed there itself.

3. How much did it cost ?
Amp and Speakers - 11k
HU - 4.4 k
Wires and installation - 2.6k

Total 19K

4.How serious were your about your system?
Pretty serious, and made damn serious by Gopz' ICE and him

5. which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

All genres..more hiphop, pop/blues rock kinda; but now any sound that comes from my ICE is good

6. would you recommend it to others???

@boo3dmax, congrats that a pretty nice set-up you got in your car. Pricing for the 937 and 60.4 seem way too lower than current market pricing. Is the dealer a close pal of yours?

Front : Alpine SPX-177R - Rs.18500
Rear : Stock (not currently used as sound has been faded completely towards front)
2 channel Amp: Audison SRX2 - Rs. 13400
RCA/Power Cables - Connection Audison - Rs.6000

Front speakers bought and installed at Alpine showroom, New Delhi. Hu & amplifier bought and installed at Driven, New Delhi

3. How much did it cost ?
Amp and Speakers - 32k
HU - 23 k
Wires and installation - 6k

Total 61K (paid less as I was able to get a buyback on factory fitted HU)

4.How serious were your about your system?
Pretty serious

5. which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

Jazz - Miles, Coltrane, Stanley Turrentine etc..
Rock - 60s/70s, electric guitar instrumental...
Other assorted stuff across genres...

Yes, though sometimes feel I could have bought better speakers for the money I spent...
