1. What does MY 2022 mean?
2. If the production is carried out on 30-12-2021, would this be considered on paper a 2021 car or 2022?

Hyundai told me that factories are shut in the last 20 days of every year. Seems they were doing overtime this time around lol:

1. Model Year '22 means a car specced according to the 2022 feature list and not the 2021 feature list. It may be such that the car is produced in 2021 but built with the 2022 feature list.

2. Manufacturing year on the RC will be 2021. Registration will be 2022.

According to decoding instructions on Page 1, this is a January 2022 car.

Unfortunately, I can't do much about this VIN other than the Month & Year since Tata Motors doesn't have any system like GSW or FCARAM.

Unfortunately, I can help you with the Month & Year for all cars except Hyundais & Jeep (FCA). Like I’ve mentioned elsewhere on this thread, we obtain these details from GSW (Hyundai) & FCAVINC (Jeep), but like most other manufacturers, Maruti doesn’t have any such service as well. I wouldn’t be able to help you any further.
