That's. Correct CX-9 Azami model. Wanted to find out the build date. Tried few online Vin decoders but to no avail.

Only information about this is the year of Make and that is 2005

Thanks! I got the same result and that's weird because this car is supposed to be the Mazda's upgraded 2020 model of CX-9 manufactured in Nov / Dec 19 timeframe. The 10th digit being a zero is causing a confusion.

Car is CX-9, purchase country - Australia
Variant - AWD Azami, 2.5 lit petrol
Purchase month - Jan 2020

Wanted to check the build month and year as this car is supposed to be the upgraded 2020 model.

The dealer informed today that the car was built in Nov 2019 and is a upgraded 2020 model.

The information that you managed to decipher also somewhat matches. Just that build month is not clear from VIN.

Thank you, pardon my ignorance but this seems to have been manufactured on 31-Dec-19 but is a 2020 model. So will the RC reflect 2020 or 2019 as the year of manufacture?
