Dears, Just booked Maruti Celerio and VIN number given by dealer is MA3ETDE1S00399211. as per checklist 10 and 11 characters represent year and month but in this case both are either 0 or 'O' which does not represent anything. Has Maruti changed the format, please help.

I used the above site but not getting correct details for my VIN. I booked Ford Endeavour 3.2 Titanium Diamond White to be delivered on 15-May. Since my vehicle has arrived in dealership I requested for VIN number. It is coming as Ford Figo with 3.2 engine on this site. :Shockked:

Full details are not available for some reason. But rest assured that your car was manufactured in April 2017. The 11th and 12th letters (H & P) indicate the year and month of manufacture respectively.

It is off a Gypsy but not sure about manufacture date.
