| Hidden vintage cars & memorabilia in Cotswolds, England Thread Heavy on Pics !! Wanted to share a fabulous experience I had in a small town of Cotswold in South of England. The place is called Bourton-On-The-Water and is a place worth visiting if someone ever comes to England. The town itself is very picturesque with springs flowing right through, open restaurants everywhere and people having good time. It is a very peaceful place and one will definitely fall in love with it. Here is the pic of the town itself  The car just happens to be in FOCUS  couldn't avoid there are so many of them in UK A typical snug shop  What surprised me was a small motor museum tucked away in the corner which had some nice collection of Austins, Morrises, Sunbeams and many more that I ended up spending maximum time in the museum than the actual time and since I was alone nobody would mind that The place not just had the vintage cars or motorcycles but what made it interesting was the small yet significant memorabilia's that they have collected over the years which included signboads, oil cans, gas station billboards, old carburettors , Toys like dinky cars , scale model, cameras and the list goes on and on... I would definitely recommend motor-heads and especially all of us who love admire beauties from older eras to just be there. The tickets costed me just 6.25£ the best money I spent on the trip ! This was the toys section included dinky cars, Scale models and also the first Meccano's which are called the modern day Mechanix's games for kids. Was surpised to find it was invented way back in 1901                           |

| Re: Hidden vintage cars & memorabilia in Cotswolds, England Great pics! I sometimes ride or drive out to Bourton & Shipston-on-Stour, it's about 90-120mins down the back roads from my house. I will keep an eye out for the museum next time - I know what most of the cars are as I'm a total geek  |
