Yes it is. The koramangala shop is looked after by his elder brother. They have 3 shops in all. One on Lalbagh Road, one in Koramangala and this one in Jayanagar 9th Block.

Had a good experience with konark's Raju bhai, bought some accessories, reasonably priced compared to competitors and the soft spoken Raju does advise correctly based on your requirements and while in shop saw atleast 5 to 6 customers, all of them repeat customers and he knew all of them personally.
another advantage is that being in a wide road there is place for 4 to 5 cars being attended at once.
Yes, do not forget to mention team bhp and he is sure to give the discount (not sure if every body gets the discount)

Hei,

I am in look out of a 6 sensor Xenos reverse parking system for my Punto. Do you think i can approach him for the installation of the same?
Heard wiring is to be perfect for Punto else it will show error on the MID. I fused a number plate light and its constantly showing the warning for that.

Hi,

I installed 4 sensor Xenos system & 3M sun film to my GP E pack on last tuesday, For the connection to the main unit they will cross connect with the reverse indicating lamp, like +ve & -ve respectively, even if you do with the authorised dealer they will do the same thing, with this simple connection, i think we won't get any warning in MID. Definately you can try with him for the same. & also you can quote my name & TBHP.

I feel he is a good person to explain and show all the available options. However, the price he quotes and the labor is more.

Re: Accessory shop: Konark (JP Nagar East End, Bangalore)

Perhaps I was looking/searching at the wrong place or with wrong key words - dumb me.

Folks I have quite a long list of things to fit and buy for my new scorpio and what I have read about Konark especially Raju bhai on this thread is very encouraging.

I am planing to go there tomorrow afternoon.

This thread was last updated more than a year back - are all the good things mentioned above yet true?

Re: Accessory shop: Konark (JP Nagar East End, Bangalore)

hey Ajith, I am a regular at Raju Bhai's workshop and the last I was there was about a month back to get my DRL's installed. I also got my Art Leather seat covers installed by Raju Bhai boys and they have done a pretty good job.

Yes, all the things mentioned above are still the same and for sure has not gone down yet. Konark is a pretty descent Auto accessory shop in Bangalore.

P.S - I am not associated with Konark and my statements are my personal experiences at this place.

Re: Accessory shop: Konark (JP Nagar East End, Bangalore)

Had been to Konark yesterday to install seat covers for my Punto.
Got a very good quality fabric seat covers with scotchguard treatment for INR 3200/-. Excellent job, as usual, by Rajinder and his team. A special thanks to vik0728 for the support.

Tried getting the AUX input on the OE Punto stereo to work. The display on the HU shows AUX but it simply does not work.

Any more details about the ScotchGard treatment ? The 3M Scotchgard we can get outside needs to be applied regularly. Is this different ? Or will you have to apply the Scotchgard regularly even though the seat covers are treated ?

Re: Accessory shop: Konark (JP Nagar East End, Bangalore)

I had recently been to Konark to get my DRL's replaced and installed, Parking lights changed and Interior Dome light replaced. Everything was done well and my questions were answered properly.

I had the lighting products with me and had to just get it installed. The labour charges were INR 200.

Only issue is that the place is pretty popular with cars lined up all over the place.

The label which came along with the covers mentioned the treatment being done at the factory. I poured some water to test this and yes there was no seepage and I could easily wipe it off with a cloth.
There is no mention of the requirement of regular treatment on the label.

If possible, could you post a few pics of the seats? Do they have a good selection of designs in fabric?

Just wanted to update my experience with him.

Went to get Bosch symphony horns from him. He did not have the single to dual horn harness and said you have to splice the wire. Also did not give proper advice on whether to get a relay installed or not for the horn.

The owner is strictly average with not much of customer centric attitude. I have it, I will Install it this way. If you want I will install else no.

Beside labor costs of 150 for horn installation is on higher side.

I feel he is good for seat covers and stuff which does not require any use of brains. Throw him some googly and will start suggesting to splice the wire.

Strictly average
