Thank you. :)

1) Stock leaf springs all around. Dampers are a combo of Innova rear dampers at the front and Xylo rear dampers on the rear. Provides a much comfortable ride.

2) -30 offset, tyre size being 235/75 R15.

Hi, Chakravarthy, Really a nice ride, the gypsy looks great in those shoes, hows the ride with these tyre size, do you have a power steering, is it manageable without the PS??

The ride's a bit on the harsh side, plus noisy.

I've never felt the need for a PS.

Yet another brand new Gypsy hits the roads - this time at Shimoga, KA.

I must admit whoever performed the subtle mods on these gypsy's are really brilliant! They are a treat to your eyes when you see them in person. I got to see them upfront when I had been to Mysuru (hometown) during Dasara. I really liked the way these cars were modded for the tour. I hope to have one in my porch in few years down the line. Gypsy has always been my favorite and with fat tyres and rims, the look further enhances to a large extent :)

So far how is the performance of the Shock Absorbers, are they any good compared to normal shock absorbers ?

My experience of the car is that there is little that just shock absorbers can do to tame the terrible ride the OE leaf spring suspension delivers particularly at the rear, so any change of just these is a waste of money.

The ride will be eons better if the Leaf Springs, Shocks along with Steering damper are replaced.

The changed ride will make the money spent worth it.

Are you referring to the fibre leaf springs?

My Maruti Gypsy also fondly referred to as "Base Camp 1" goes from a Vanlife (Bedroom) configuration to a 4 seat (Living room) configuration. It is an amazingly versatile setup.
