Fazal sir - You are right, @ 5.5 lakhs on road Gypsy makes sense for some one who is looking to own a personal 4x4! May be its a sign of the trend that is catching up.
If i introspect, the last real 4x4 purchase i saw on team bhp was a CL550 4wd by member Abhicherian.
When did Teambhp see a purchase of a true Mahindra 4x4? (Scorpio's not included)
All have been rebuild thread and none new! I hope M&M is reading this!!

Very true Vinod. I infact made friends with Mr. Cherian and i infact PMed him asking about his new Major. Finally decided to buy one and went contacting India Garage. Don't ask me about that experience, and to add to it, i was also told that it could not be registered in Bangalore. So, gave up that idea and moved on buying a Gypsy.
Hope, Thar makes a difference.

Congratulations Praneet, the gypsy has come out really nice, and the paint job looks really solid. When are we meeting? I really want to see your ride - the last i saw it was during its final stages, and the interiors looked close to new. Lets meet tomorrow (Wed) eve, let me know.
