@Khan

The Revolver shackles replace the factory shackles on your leaf springs. They eliminate a lot of spring stress and maximize wheel extension and compression.

Initially i was able to go upto 1ft on ramp after putting this its dobuled and still the leafs were not flexed fully. I ran out shock travel. (this was with those small tyers)

so with longer shock it will be more than 2ft on ramp.

Ride quality has improved a lot.

I will try to get the video of my car soon..

here is a small video and pic

@SVSantosh,

Its risky only if not done properly because it will openup on heavy weight or pressure. Now the pic below is something which is on bolts and can be opened so risk is involved.

what i have made is same design and function but its a one peice shackel. no bolts.

I have it on all 4.

you might see this setup on few trucks in india.

Nice stuff, can you post the picture of the actual set-up on your vehicle please? Also is it custom built or is there source which can do it for others also?

^^ Khan, If I understood right, what Devang means by Rev.Shac is put the shackle from front bumper on the rear mount, .
No. That is different from Devang is talking about. What devang is saying is the drop shackle thing or also commonly called as the missing link.

This is what Devang has, which is different from SR:

@jaggu and khan,

Yaar we are not lucky that we can but stuff off shelf. I had to fabricate this. I made all 4 for my gypsy.
It has improved on road and offroad performance a lot.

I will try to post the pics asap, current vehicle is in garage for anti axel wrap.

Guys any idea about the longest desi shocks for gypsy??

@tejas and Ravi

Thanks guys.

Ravi if you are going for spoa then just go for shackel lift. Check out tejas"s jeep he has done it.

I think you will have to experiment here and see which one fits. Do note that longest shock will not necessarily mean longest travel.

For front, you would have to change the mounts -- atleast the lower one and take it back to the almost bottom part of the axle. That way you can change to long shocks.

For rear, moving the mounts is easy. You have quite a few options. Try ambassador shocks. Maybe try bolero shocks also.

@ rear I already have amby shocks with extra ring but I need something longer. Allan also suggested bolero I will try that tomorrow.
For front I will have to take the mount down because it will not have travle upwards or any other reason??

Same was suggested by Allan as well, infact waiting for him to come back. Will take some pointers from you tomorrow, I have seen Tejas jeep and seen it performing as well, deeply in love with his jeep and planning to install same 6 point rollcage.

Cheers
Ravi.
