how do you converted the PCD of army wheels to 160?

or do you have OKBJ & FFRA with old PCD hubs?

Jyobeb,

Its nice that you cleared the air on the Scorp engine clearances.

Spike - Okay Okay, we will buy it that you could not have got a Thar CRDe with a live axle.

OT - When is the BS4 Mdi Thar coming out. ? Whats the story on that.

What?? It is still a live axle (live axle means power is transferred through that axle). I understood your point though.

Re: My MM550

Hi Jyobeb,

Can you provide me some inputs on:
** How and what turbo charger did you use on the Engine?
** Can the engine take it? Will there not be any stress on Engine?
** How is the performance now?
** Why the inter-cooler?

Re: My MM550

The intercooler setup was when I had the Peugeot XD2S engine, which came with the turbo. This was an original Peugeot engine. After that I fixed a Scorpio engine and after that an Isuzu 4JG2 engine!!!
Performance now is excellent.

Jyobeb,
What did you do with your XD2S? Did it have some issues before the engine swap?
Regards,

Re: My MM550

Nope, no issues with the XD2S. Just wanted a whole lot more power! I think I told you that I sold the XD2S to Vijay Prabhu!

Re: My MM550

Hi jyobeb,

You have used the turbo and intercooler from the xd2s for the 4jg2 right?

How is the low end torque and onroad performance compared to the scorpio engine?

Hi Jyobeb,

I have few more questions for you.

** Where did he buy the Vehicle from?
** How much was the cost?
** Cost of engine, LSD and Gear box and entire Over hauling?
** Where did you source the army standard wiring harness?
** Where did you get the parts from during Engine Over hauling?

No! The 4JG2 is a turbocharged engine. The intercooler has not been fitted yet and I am waiting for 4X4 addict to lend me his!

Much better than the Scorpio and though power figures are almost the same, the 4JG2 has a lot more usable torque and power

If you are talking about my jeep, I bought it from a friend in absolutely stock condition
** How much was the cost?
Rs 1,80,000/-
** Cost of engine, LSD and Gear box and entire Over hauling?
Engine + 4WD GBox cost me about Rs1,10,000/-
** Where did you source the army standard wiring harness?
Redid the whole wiring with a professional
** Where did you get the parts from during Engine Over hauling?
I never did an engine overhaul. All I did was replace 3 engines

Anyway, all questions welcome!
