I prefer NGCS+SZ plus engine + 4wd-NGT530R+Manual transfer.

I would prefer that too, right now its a question of limited Vitamin M, and what can be done to get the vehicle on the road and me sitting on that driver's seat.

What is going to be the main utility for your future jeep? Are you looking to enter serious off-roading escapades and stuff? Have you considered the CJ3B?

Re: Quest for 2006 NGCS MM550

This vehicle will be used as a daily drive, along with possible solo or friends(non-family) week-end trips to destinations like Corbett etc. Haven't really tried my hand at off-roading, but I hear its quite a lot of fun, so want to do that too.

The 550 body style appeals to be the most, and along with that the 5-speed gearbox for the 2006 NGCS.( I believe 04-05 NGCS models come with a 4 speed gb).

Thx
Manjeet

Buy a Thar crde with 100% onroad loan and pay EMI, with peace of mind by spending time with friends and family.Instead of road side garages.

No can do.

Had this been a possibility, my ownership thread would have been there on TBHP.

I have a few pics of the disposal jeep. The thing-a-ma-jiggy driving the front wheels when 4wd has been removed and is available.

Please share your opinions.

Thx
Manjeet
