An Off-Roader’s Rolls Royce – Overfinch LR Defender

Off-road purists may bash me up for this, I know off-road vehicles are NOT supposed to be this clean (), but would you just look at it!

The LR Defender has always been a thing of my dreams, to see one dressed up by Overfinch nearly gave me a crisis

It comes with a custom rear load space decking including special commission plaque, lockable storage drawer, lashing points and room for the spare wheel. It is manufactured from marine-grade teak decking with marine-grade black caulking.

The interior boasts custom leather in distressed tan with black detailing and stitching, while the dash fascia panel and cupholders feature a bespoke teak veneer design. Overfinch installed front Recaro seats with gloss black painted shells along with machined and polished aluminum gear selectors, handbrake and pedals.

Re: An Off-Roader’s Rolls Royce – Overfinch LR Defender

I love overfinch trucks, but slathering a defender with leather and shiny bits doesn't make it an off road rolls royce. thats like saying a rolls royce with a stripped out interior and increased ground clearance would be an on road land rover.

Frankly, this thing is an abomination.

Delicious workmanship and interiors and all the frills. The colour of the leather upholstery is yummy-licious! A warm and rich "cognac". Love it!
Im sure this would be a super-expensive Chelsea Tractor! - What a lovely expression that is, so evocative of a poshed up four wheel drive that would never see more than a standard tarmac road while probably never getting its feet wet...

Naaahiiiiii !! The whole charm of the Defender is destroyed arrgh !! This would look at home in a top end saloon or coupe convertibles. But why God why do this to a Defender.

Looks like the Mahindra Customizations lunatics have a solid career progression path - they'll move to the shop that produced this eyesore !
