What is the PCD of Thar ?
Just for the same track width?

PCD is regular 160. (same as Bolero, Scorpio)

& no problem for using spacers in rear if you get/fabricate good quality one's.

Centipede...uncomparable!

Simex is banned in many country's, how can they launch them here? yes OTR tires are available with cherry agencies, those are dumper truck tires,

why is simex banned? and if banned, why is the thar advertised in internet with it?

They dig up the terrain, environmental issues ^^^

LOL..!!

Seriously ??? Even a bighorn if revved when stuck can cause similar effect.

Strange. Dont majority of the MTs do this?

Has to be some other reason?

@sreejesh:

I have the Bolero Track on my MM550 and have fixed spacers at the back to bring the track same as it looks bad when you add alloys. If you see any Bolero with offset alloys, it looks like a Lobster going hunting.

You need to get your spacers done properly so that the wheel nuts don't come loose and fall off when driving.

Will an 8.5J rim be too large for a 235-75-R15 Trepador? I am asking because I have the option of an 7J, 8J and 8.J and weirdly the 8J costs more than the 8.5J by a significant margin!

Need your inputs asap!

Question regarding Mahindra Voyager steel rims:

1. Are they 15"
2. What is the "J" on these rims?
3. What is the negative offset (in inches) if any?

Yes, 8.5J will be TOOO big. Optimum size for 235 is 7J. 8.5J is ok for 31"

Ok got a 7J and a 7.5J option. Also waiting to hear from them on the Mahindra FC (school van) rims. Didn't realize mounting bigger tires and alloys would be such a pain in the posterior.

Mounts well in the stock Gypsy rims. Why are you looking for rims or is this for alloys?

Guru,

The FC Rims are 5.5x15. I have them on my 540 and they are good enough for the 235s. Very sturdy rims and can handle abuse.

+1 to Jaggu.
Guru, i've seen my friend having mounted 255s on stock Gypsy rims on his 3B.
If you are specifically looking for alloys, then i understand. Otherwise, why an alternate for the Gypsy rims?
Cheers,
Deepak

PS: Gypsy rims look good too.. (personal choice maybe) ;)
