Exactly !! you guys just seem to making your own road.

PS : did the resort owner coming running to you folks :)

Like we guys from say

KHAN SAHAB BALLE BALLE, PHATE CHUCK DITE (Way to go Khan Sahab)

Wow, Nice sequance :)

I scroll it slowly and it seems like a video. Lol....

Contd??? Oh no, please make it fast.

Sha, if you are with Khan, you should be really keeping an eye on him. Else, you never knew which steep he is climbing. When he sees something tempting, all of a sudden he will disapear. Good that you were with him to give these excellent shots to us.

Who knows, how many such off-roads went un-photographed.

@Khan: Man the gypsy looks clean!!! So, is it just after your fav wash?

It took me sometime to understand what was happening (first 3 pix) :D
Phew!

Literally obscene. I'm sure the regular joes would be peeing their pants!

You are literally the king! Awesome would be an understatement.

@mjothi- posting final photos of khan adventure.

Woaaaaaah this is some climber you got there khan saab. Love the short overhang looks, you need to figure something to cover that nanga front while retaining the overhang and the jeep will be a stunner (look wise) :)

Chopping off the rear is really paying off. Did you manage to ground the tail? It looks like it in some of the pics.
I think cj3b and 550 still have an upper hand to your ride in terms of angle of departure. Though just a little bit.
Angle of approach seems to be more or less equal after you loosing your bumper.

cheers
vishwas

Did it go over Shahnawaz?

No Man. no wash etc. But if you see other pictures carefully, you would see 2 jeeps (and a skoda) covered very nicely. These were Hyderabad jeeps and they were washed every day by an army of 4 cleaners that had come along with the hyderabad jeepers to just clean the jeeps.

You know what, this is why we say that pictures don't do justice to the terrains. This terrain/slope is not so challenging as it looks. Infact some of the easy terrains look tough in pictures and some of the REALLY tough ones look easy.

No. The number plate had started scraping the ground (in one picture you can see the rear touching the ground) and I immediately stopped at that. This was on the morning of the JT OTR and I did not want to do any circus and even think of possibly damaging the Gypsy that morning.

Maybe -- because of a SWB of the CJ's. Not sure about the 550 though. Haven't checked out as yet.
My approach angle, is literally equal if I attempt a terrain in reverse gear or forward gears.

No :-). But in one of the pictures, you can see an Innova in the background. He was passing by and he stopped to see what this circus is about. He stopped there and maybe was hoping that we will call him for help to pull us out :D

Good try, khan_sultan, and good pics, Sha !

Now the important question - which gear and which ratio?

Only number plate was scrapping the ground. underbody never touched the surface I was looking down. tyres :thumbs up made to climb it easily.
If there was no JT event Khan would have tried climbing the trail.
If i had tried in my stock gypsy my front bumper would have gone for tossing and back cannot guess what would have happened.
