Great Mountain Challenge - GMC 2016

We would like to invite all 4x4 & offroad lovers for 2 days of offroad Fun, Adventure and Camping.

Date: September 10 & 11 2016.
Location: - Muttom, Thodupuzha.Kerala.

GMC is a competetion event with 6 stages for each category.

Catergories are Adventure , Extreme & SUV.

Extreme category vehicles means, 4x4 vehicles similar to ones which are prepared for RFC, or Pro-modified category vehicles which participated in Mahindra Club Challenge etc.


Extreme Category Requirements.

1) 6 Point Roll Cage.
2) 8000 lbs Electric Winch ( Front Mounted)
3) Differential Lockers .
4) MT or XT Tyres with maximum 35 " diameter.
5) Metal Cabin.
6) Six Ton Rated Tow Straps ( 2 Nos)
7) 4 D shackles (rated 3000kg or more)
8) Tree Trunk Protector
9) Gloves for operating Winch.
10) High Lift Jack
11) Two Recovery points on front and rear of the vehicle (3000 kg rated)
12) Helmets
13) Seatbelts
14) Camping Tent/ sleeping Bag
15) Sand Ladders/ Waffle Boards.
16 ) Ground Anchor
17) Crew Name and Blood Group stickers on both front fenders.


Adventure Category Requirements.

1) 4x4 Vehcle with working & selectable Hi & Low Ratio Gear Box
2) MT Tyres
3) 6Ton Rated Tow Straps ( 1 No)
4) D shackles ( 1 pair)
5) Helmets
6) Seatbelts
7) Camping Tent/ sleeping Bag


SUV Category Requirements
1) 4x4 Vehcle with working & selectable Hi & Low Ratio Gear Box
2) MT Tyres
3) 6Ton Rated Tow Strap ( 1 No)
4) D shackles ( 1 pair)
5) Helmets
6) Seatbelts
7) Camping Tent/ sleeping Bag


Accomodation

A Camp site will be provided for all Participants and officials.
We will be camping at the event location for 2 days.
Please bring your own camping tents and sleeping bags.

Food
Food for all participants will be provided at the camp site for both days.

Registration
Rs 8000 for Adventure and SUV Category. ( 2 Member Team)
Rs 10,000 for Extreme Category ( 2 Member Team )

Rightly said Dhanush. We need to know how the scoring is done? Also a competitors handbook is needed for people to prepare for the event. AFAIK, the even is postponed also, but not updated in this thread. It will be good if the organizers keep us posted. And the prize money is it cash or some offroad goodies worth 4 lakhs? Is it for the overall winner or category-wise? Do you have a ladies category? What is the prize for that?
