Mahindra unveils the Mahindra Adventure Calendar for Season 3.

• The Great Escape: In addition to the 7 existing locations, 3 new ones (Shillong, Hyderabad and Ooty) have been added.

• Multi-Day Expeditions: Including the Monastery Escape (10 days), Royal Escape (6 days), Tri-Nation Escape (14 days) & Authentic Goa (4 days).

• Mahindra TSD Challenges: The Spice Challenge (4 days) & Monsoon Challenge (4 days).

• Off-Road Training Academy officially launched. The three training levels include Basic (Getting Dirty), Intermediate (Trail Survivor) and Expert (Global Explorer). Depending on the course selected, participants will learn the various nuances of 4WD theory, components of a 4WD system, use of off-road equipment, terrain-specific driving techniques and emergency repairs. 7th December in Gurgaon. Hope the Skeet Shooting events in the 57th Shotgun Nationals are over by this date this year. Would love to join this event again, last time was in 2011 when it ended up as a disasterous very poorly impractical event in Gurgaon.

For those who came in late here's a link to what had happened in Gurgaon in August 2011, the punters went 4 KM off road on tracks and the event was abandoned on obstacle no. 1 !
