UM Global Renegade Commando launch at 2016 Delhi auto expo

UM Global showcased its motorcycle range at the 2014 Delhi auto expo. Since the motor show, there has been a lot of speculation regarding an exact launch date and a post on the company's Facebook page states that the Renegade Commando will be launched at the 2016 Delhi auto expo.

With the Renegade Commando, UM Global is targeting the entry level cruiser space, which is currently dominated by Royal Enfield. At last year's expo UM Global showcased motorcycles such as the Renegade Sport, Renegade Duty, Xtreet R and Renegade Commando (including one in military green).

The Renegade Commando at the auto expo was powered by a 223cc, single-cylinder engine with an oil cooler that produces 18 BHP and 15.5 Nm of torque. UM Global also offers the Renegade Commando with a 150cc engine that makes around 16 BHP and 14 Nm of torque, which could rival the likes of the Bajaj Avenger Street 150. As per the official Facebook page, the model will be offered in two variants, though exact specifications and variant details are awaited.
