Hyundai will be launching the 2017 Xcent facelift in India on April 20, 2017. Ahead of its official launch, the facelifted Xcent has been spotted without any camouflage, revealing all exterior styling details of the upcoming model.

As per the leaked spy shots, the new Xcent gets a redesigned front bumper that will house a wide hexagonal grille with five horizontal chrome slats. The lower part of the bumper gets a slim black insert that stretches along the width of the car to form a bracket-like shape around the two fog lamps. It also comes with LED DRLs that have been placed near the fog lamp housings. The horizontally-placed fog lamps are larger than the outgoing model's round units.

The rear gets a redesigned pair of split-section tail lights that are wider than the ones found on the earlier model. The boot lid too has been redesigned to house the larger tail lights and comes with a chrome bar in the middle. Other visible changes include a new rear bumper that gets a wide black insert on the lower part, with two reflectors embedded on both ends and a new shark-fin antenna placed on the rear section of the roof.

The Xcent facelift is expected to carry forward the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine from the earlier model without any changes. However, the diesel variants will get a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder unit that will be rated at 74 BHP and 190 Nm. This is the same engine that debuted under the Grand i10 facelift.
