Nissan to sell cars online in India

Nissan Motor India Private Ltd. has announced that it will now enable its prospective customers to purchase cars online, directly from the company.

The desired car can be booked by making payment through an online gateway using a credit card. When the car is ready, it will be delivered to the customer by the nearest Nissan dealership.   

All the cars in Nissan’s India line-up will be available for online purchase. Nissan currently sells the Micra hatchback, the Sunny and the Teana sedans, the Terrano and the X-Trail SUVs, the Evalia MPV and the 370Z sports car in India.

Nissan claims that the objective of this idea is to simplify the purchase cycle and reduce the time involved. Additionally, Nissan plans to offer attractive deals for its online customers.
