New Punto to be Launched in August

Multiple sightings and speculations later, the New Fiat Punto is expected to launch in early August this year as per a report by Autocar. The new Punto carries some major updates to its exteriors as well as interiors. 

The front of the Punto is all new featuring swept back headlamps, a rectangular grill, chrome touches around the fog lamps assembly and a revised bumper. The side profile of the car seems to be unchanged. The alloy wheels now sport a newer design.

The interiors are likely to be carried forward from the new face-lifted Fiat Linea, which is a welcome change from the current, dated looking interiors of the Punto.

Fiat will continue offering the same engine options with the Punto i.e. a 1.2L petrol motor producing 67BHP and a 1.3L diesel motor with an option of either 75BHP or 89BHP.
